In this article, I am going to talk about the importance of perfect tools while working, I cover various fields and discuss why you should prefer those tools over others. As I am from electronics background, I talk about the main tools we should have, don’t worry I have a few tools of other areas too.

Tools: A device or implement, especially one held in the hand used to carry out a particular function.

"A man is as productive as its worst tool” – me

Perfect tools are not only required to increase your productivity but it has a psychological effect on our body/ mind, the better tools we are using the positive we feel about working on that task towards completion and the task has a higher chance of getting completed and in a way perfect manner.

Consider you are working on a project lets say related to mechanical and you have to cut a few metallic sheets and fold them to build legs for your robot, you could do that with a hex saw, that would be cheaper just will take a lot of effort and you have a higher chance to mess up, instead, if you had a CNC machine that would be way easier and the outcome would be perfect.

But that’s too expensive right so why don’t we use a nibbler an attachment for drill and cuts sheet like butter. This is the first item on my list. So, by now you have an idea how this is going to work so let’s get started.

Also, I have attached the links at the end from where you can buy these stuff if you want them in perfect condition and lowest cost.

1   1. Nibbler:

This tool can be used to cut metal sheets of anything that is hard and up to 2mm. It’s a perfect tool if you or your team do a lot of mechanical work. It helps shape wood, cardboard, metal, etc.

2. Multimeter:

This is the most basic tool for electronics and electrical work, but I have seen many waste money on buying a very expensive one or a cheap one that is in accurate and get damaged easily. The best multimeter to buy that can help with all basic and few advances stuff while being your perfect tool is Mastech MAS830L Digital Pocket Multimeter.

3. Breadboard:

This is the most important tool if you work on projects that require electronics work to be done. This is way better than just soldering wires directly. Why?_____ Debugging. I have seen people not giving this tool any importance and using a breadboard that haunts them in there sleep as its hard to get wires in few of the holes and could be a nightmare to work on a big project, the perfect the breadboard will be bb830 or if you want a small one bb400 don’t waste your time buying breadboard that isn’t worth it.

    4. Wires:

Another important thing the perfect tool is: 22-gauge copper wire single strand. Don’t buy ribbon cables (rainbow-colored
) it’s the worst they break quickly and cant support current required for basic purpose and has higher resistance they are only good for connecting with the microcontroller.

5. Microcontroller:

STM 32
There are three in this list:

a.     Arduino: but all we get are 3rd party built but there are few better than others

b.     Raspberry pi: The thing you should use to build highly controlled projects.

c.      STM 32: if you want to do some advanced stuff with a microcontroller, this is the perfect one.

Powerful then Arduino and cheaper. Also,
It requires an attachment i.e. a programmer FTDI.

Doesn’t matter where you have been writing your notes for projects this dairy is the perfect tool to take notes.
