This blog is about how to build a project, I had a seminar recently in which I talked about this topic. I wanted to share the tips with the internet, they will really help you with your projects.
Read complete to get all the benefits, I have linked my presentation in the end.

Why? Build a project
Good question, we build a project to get knowledge about technology and understand it better.
Why?
To increase understanding of the universe or specifically about the things around you.
Why?
So that if you have anything you want to achieve or build becomes easier to do.
Why?
Basically to earn money or make lives better. And making the world a better place to live in.
Why?
Ok, I get it, these whys are playing tricks with me. Asking the why question, children do it all the time. Adults should do it more often. Don't it is annoying. But why we don't do it?
Google, is the main reason behind it, we are so stuck in the loop that we don't even try for 15 minutes to find answers on our own. we jump straight to google and find answers. This has led us not to build projects as we know that it can be done. We leave the most important thing out of the picture even most project building articles and courses leave it. It is debugging.
Debugging
I have learned that debugging is the best way to learn about something. I do projects basically for debugging. It's really fun and makes brain function in all directions. As you tackle problems that you didn't foresee coming.
As a wise man once said: "The one who understands debugging, knows how the things work". As for who was the wise man you need to download the presentation and figure out.
How to start? Find anything to work on, on the internet or nearby, anywhere anything. That won’t be your project but something to get you started so that you are in a flow. It has been observed that the majority of people who are doing something creative get better ideas and have the confidence to do it.
Now let’s assume you found a project my example: building a clock module. Find how to do it. Google it. Find materials. Understand the tech, the use of 555 timers. Recently in clocks, we use quartz. And they are easy to control but they were very fast so I had to do something else. Recently researchers are finding a way to use carbon nanotubes as it vibrates perfectly and we can soon switch back to mechanical oscillators. I built a PCB module so that I could learn a lot through this small project.

FLOW
Now all that was to get you in flow, now you must have started getting ideas of how to do things and what should I do next, that pseudo project helped you use the web efficiently. Use your nearby resources and come up with fresh new ideas.
Few topics to choose from
- IoT
- Automation
- Electronics
- Microprocessor
- AI, ML
- Open CV
- Mechanics
- Origami (for fun)
IoT vs Automation: In IoT, all a user needs to do is turn on the devices else everything is done by the device’s human is not allowed to do that. If human intervenes like press button to make specific things happen it is called automation not the Internet of Things.
for me this seminar was like that I did this presentation like a competition and prepared a lot. Maximum time was utilized in finding logos though.
Main Project
Now you have a lot of ideas on how to do the project and why to do the project so I don’t think so that you require any specific knowledge on that, that you have maybe even more than me. All you need is motivation and flow.
For me, my ideas come from imagination, and to improve that I play games on PC, not for a long time but about an hour a day or two. That keeps my brain fresh with ideas.
